"My fiancé and I had our engagement photos taken by Brett a couple weeks ago, and we are so happy with the way our pictures turned out! I contacted Brett via email a week before our vacation to Oahu and he responded immediately with his availability. He suggested meeting at 8:30 a.m., so then I asked if we could meet in the afternoon instead, since I'm not an early bird ;P He advised us that the best time to have our photos taken would be in the morning because it's cooler outside, not as many people out, and the sun won't be in our eyes. I really appreciated his feedback, because it was sooo true!
We met Brett at Kahala Beach on a Sunday at 8:30 a.m. He informed us of his work and what we should expect during the photo shoot, as well as assured us that he was welcome to any ideas we had, since it was ultimately our photo shoot. My fiancé and I have never taken professional pictures before so we trusted Brett with all of our poses. He would show us how to pose and explained how those poses would accentuate our features (i.e., elongate my legs, etc.). Brett has a great sense of humor too. Our one hour with him went by so quick! It really was a pleasure to work with him and we highly recommend him if you're looking for a photographer to capture your best moments!" - Heather L.
