It’s so much fun: Plotting with the happy/nervous guy about the just the right place, the secret code word we’ll use and then having a ring side seat to watch their happy moment unfold while I get to photograph it is just so…well...romantic!

Secret Spokane Engagement Proposal Photography

Your Surprise Proposal can take place at nearly any location, from your favorite in town park to hiking to a mountain meadow, and everything in between. The best time of day for surprise proposal photography is usually early morning or late afternoon/evening for the softest, warmest light. However, it really depends on the location.

To reserve an Spokane surprise proposal photography session, a deposit is required and is refundable if canceled more than 72 hours before your session. Refunds are NOT given for anything beyond our personal control - like weather, wind, sunburns, rain, wet clothes, etc.

Surprise Proposal Video Bonus!

As an added bonus, we also offer free of charge, a GoPro video of your proposal! By attaching a GoPro video to the top of our camera, we can capture your proposal in stunning video from the viewpoint of the camera. We offer this free of charge, and without any editing - we simply give you the actual files. It’s not as good as having a dedicated videographer on hand, but then it is free. :-)

Spokane Surprise Proposal Packages

30 Minute Package - $400

A 30 minute proposal photo session that includes all the photos taken (SOOC, unedited*), PLUS your choice of 30 edited images at Full Resolution.** Available only between 8am -4pm and limited to central Spokane locations.

60 Minute Package - $600

A 60 minute proposal photo session that includes all the photos taken (SOOC, unedited*), PLUS your choice of 60 edited images at Full Resolution.** Good for any location on within 60 minutes of Spokane (most of Coeur d'Alene included).

90 Minute Package - $900

A 90 minute proposal photo session that includes all the photos taken (SOOC, unedited*), PLUS your choice of 90 edited images at Full Resolution.** Good for any location within 90 minutes of Spokane (Coeur d'Alene area included).

*SOOC stands for “Straight Out Of Camera,” unedited, untouched proofs. See examples here.
**Edited images are edited for color, white balance, exposure, cropping, straightening, etc, as well as general clean up. Editing is fully at the discretion of the photographer. Does not include “photoshopping.” All the images shown on this website were edited & delivered as shown.

Just So We’re Clear - We’re Not Like Most Photographers…

Unlike most photographers, we do things a bit differently here. We like to keep things simple and we prefer a more casual approach to our Spokane Surprise Proposal Photo sessions.

First, we don’t have separate session packages followed up by additional print selection packages. We have one simple price with one simple product: digital images. Yes, you are more than welcome to purchase prints through us (from your online gallery) and we’re happy to help you fine tune them, but you don’t need to purchase prints through us. Ever.

Second, we tend to shoot a least 200+ photos during a typical 60 min session and you get to download and keep ALL the images we take straight-out-of-camera (SOOC). You then get to choose the images you want us to edit- we don’t choose for you.

Third, we’re strictly an on-location photographer - like local parks, mountains, forest, rivers, cool local spots, etc. All year around. We do not have a studio. We like to be outside in nature, even when it’s not so beautiful or perfect. So if having every hair perfectly coifed is important to you, a studio photographer would be a better option. Our #1 Moto is “real over perfect.” Of course, we want to show you at your best but our #2 Moto is “don’t sweat the small stuff.”
